For the first time in a week or so, I actually feel awake. Sleeping away most of the afternoon will do that for you. I've been up for 20 hours straight. Worked 10, mowed the lawn in 95 degree heat, made dinner, broke the bed with the_lucky_nun (literally), and I can't fall asleep.

Seriously, I'm worn out. There's only so far Veronica Mars episodes and Camel Turkish Golds will go to keep a man occupied.

Huh. Instead of going to the Annex and watching the UFC pay-per-view, or going out to the country for margaritas, I crawled into bed at 8pm and slept until 8 this morning. Why? Evidently, I'm a boring-ass old man.

Ugh. I just have had no energy this weekend. All I want to do is sleep and watch tv. Sadly, there's a house to clean...

Hey, kids... when you're making plans to go somewhere, and they involve getting up early and driving to another town, don't stay up until 1:30am when you've been up since 3:30am the prervious day. The cat won't stop clawing things, be it the couch, my foot, or the toilet paper roll in the boys' bathroom. the_lucky_nun is twitching like crazy in her sleep, and I've pretty much given up on getting any sleep tonight.

And to think I was all happy I didn't have to go in to the bakery until 6am. Extra sleep? Well, it was a nice thought.
